The Sydney edition of Carman's Fun Run is on Sunday 20 September 2026, based at Metcalfe Park on Darling Island in Pyrmont. Every distance starts and finishes there.
This is a harbour course rather than a city one. Runners head around Darling Harbour, north along the waterfront promenade through Barangaroo and Clyne Reserve, then out and back along Hickson Road. The half marathon covers that loop twice on what the organisers describe as a new two-lap course for 2026; the 10km and 5km each do a single lap. Elevation is negligible, 15 metres over the 10km and 7 metres over the 5km, which makes it a flat morning by Sydney standards.
Start times run through the morning: half marathon at 6:45am, 10km at 8:30am, 5km at 9:30am in three pace-based waves, and the Pink Lady 5K Walk at 10:00am. Everything closes at an 11:30am cut-off. Water stations sit at 4km, 8km, 11.5km, 14km and 18km.
Breast Cancer Network Australia is the charity partner, as it is at the Melbourne edition in February. Pricing in late August 2026 was $120 for the half marathon, $90 for the 10km, $65 for the 5km and $60 for the Pink Lady walk, with under-18 rates from $55.
