The Coffs Harbour Running Festival shows off the very best of the New South Wales mid-north coast, with scenic courses linking the Coffs Creek Walkway, the Botanic Gardens and the spectacular Jetty Foreshores. The run out along the harbour walls and to the end of the iconic Coffs Harbour Jetty is a genuine highlight — this is coastal running at its most photogenic.
Choose from a full marathon, a scenic one-lap half marathon, 10km and 5km fun runs, and a 3km family fun run/walk. The courses are largely flat and fast along the foreshore, making them friendly for PBs and first-timers alike.
The 2027 festival is on Sunday 12 September, a fortnight later in the calendar than recent editions, which had been held in late August. Early spring on the Coffs coast usually serves up mild, sunny running weather. Coffs Harbour is an easy stop midway between Sydney and Brisbane and a great family holiday base, with beaches and the hinterland close by.
