Lofty's Revenge is a city-to-summit trail ultra run by Adelaide Trail Runners, climbing from the Adelaide plains all the way up to the summit of Mt Lofty. The 2027 edition is on Saturday 26 June. The 50km flagship starts at Felixstow Reserve and gains around 1,800m of elevation on a roughly 70% trail, 30% road course, with 28km and 10km options also finishing at the summit, plus a three-person teams relay for the 50km. A genuinely tough day with a brutal final climb and a big payoff view from the top.
