The Port Macquarie Running Festival is staged from the Town Green on the NSW Mid North Coast, with courses running the waterfront between Town Beach and Settlement Point. The 2027 event is on Sunday 2 May, offering a marathon, half marathon, 10km, 5km and a 3km family run — plus the Treble Breakwall Buster for anyone keen to combine the half, 10km and 5km into 36.1km across the day.
The marathon is a two-lap course; the longer events use rolling, net-timed starts from the Town Green precinct. Autumn on the coast makes for comfortable running, aid stations sit roughly every 2km, and every finisher gets a medal, with overall placings in the marathon, half, 10km and 5km. The riverside setting is the draw, and online entry runs through to late April.
