Twenty-five laps for a Queensland title. The state 10,000m championship is held at the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre at Nathan, roughly 10km south of the Brisbane CBD, and the 2026 edition is set for the morning of Saturday 3 October with an 8:00am start.
It sits inside day three of the Queensland All Schools Track and Field Championships, which run from 1 to 4 October at the same venue, so the 10,000m is contested in the middle of a large schools program rather than as a meet of its own. Entry is through Queensland Athletics on revolutioniseSPORT, listed there as "2026/27 QA Championships: 10000m". As of early September 2026 entries had not opened and no fee had been published.
