The Run Port Stephens is a new road event on the NSW coast at Nelson Bay, on the Port Stephens peninsula. The 2026 event is on Sunday 29 November, with a marathon, half marathon, 10km, 5km and a 2km. The flat course runs out and back along the foreshore from Foreshore Park, the bay in view almost the whole way, past the town centre and cafes to a beachside finish. About two and a half hours north of Sydney, it's an easy late-spring weekend by the water.
David Criniti won the 2025 marathon on Saturday 22 November in 2:43:47, close to thirteen minutes ahead of Leo McHugh. It was much the fastest run in the event's short history, and the only sub-2:50 recorded across its first two years. Michelle Crawford was the fastest woman in 3:31:01, 21st overall.

Oliver Butcher won the 2024 marathon on Sunday 1 December in 2:59:01, the only runner under three hours and just one minute fifty-one ahead of Jordan Barton-Callaghan. The women's race was the deeper one: Harriet Beavis led it home in 3:10:24 for seventh outright, with Grace Harrison ninth, Julia McMorrow 13th and Ruby Harrison 16th — four women inside the top 16.
