The Ross Running Festival is a small road event in the historic village of Ross in Tasmania's Midlands, roughly halfway between Hobart and Launceston. The 2026 edition was on Sunday 20 September, with a half marathon (8:00am), 10km (9:00am), 5km (9:30am) and a 2km Children's Challenge, plus a virtual option that could be completed by 31 October.
The course crosses the convict-built Ross Bridge and loops the outskirts of town before finishing along the main street. Earlier editions included a marathon, but the 2026 program topped out at the half. The 2027 date has not been announced.
