The Bare Creek Trail Run is a community trail event in Garigal National Park on Sydney's North Shore, run from Acron Oval at St Ives. The 2026 edition is on Sunday 8 November, with four distances: a 2km dash, a 6km, a 12km and a 20km, all on fully marked fire trails and singletrack through the bushland above Middle Harbour.

It pitches itself as Sydney's friendliest trail run, and the field reflects that — first-timers and families on the shorter courses, more experienced trail runners on the 12km and 20km. Every finisher gets a medal, and the Acron Oval event centre runs coffee, food and music through the morning. The event supports the Run Beyond Project.

Entries open in May at early-bird rates, from $25 for the 2km up to $110 for the 20km adult entry, climbing through standard and late windows to race day. Getting there is easiest by car, with parking in the streets around Acron Oval and only limited public transport to the start.
