Walkers on the course of The Bloody Long Walk – Sydney North

This is where the Bloody Long Walk began — the original 2013 course from Governor Phillip Park at Palm Beach down the Northern Beaches to the Manly promenade. The 35km route strings together clifftops, coastal paths and beach after beach, with start waves from 6:30am on Sunday 2 August. Standard entry is $144 (early entries have been offered at $99), and funds raised go to the Mito Foundation.

The Bloody Long Walk – Sydney North 2026 Results — 35km, Top 10 Overall

Maureen Fraser was first back to Manly on Sunday 2 August in 3h59m54s, the only one of 709 finishers to break four hours, and won the event outright. Michael Comninos was second, 61 seconds behind. The Bloody Long Walk is a fundraising challenge for the Mito Foundation rather than a race, but the organiser publishes ranked finish times.
