Run the Bridges is a new Western Sydney road event from Elite Energy, based at the Penrith Panthers Leagues Club with the Blue Mountains as a backdrop. The 2026 event is on the weekend of 5–6 September. The course follows smooth riverside paths along the Nepean and takes in the M4 motorway bridge and the historic Yandhai Nepean Crossing footbridge, with a half marathon, 15km, 8km and a 2km family dash. Flat and scenic, with a family-friendly festival at the Panthers precinct afterwards.
