The Hounslow Classic returns to Blackheath on 10–12 September 2027, run by SingleTrack Events from the Allview Escape event village on Hat Hill Road. The organiser has not yet said which race falls on which day. In 2026 the Friday was registration and a shake-out run, the marathon ran on the Saturday and the 17k on the Sunday.
The 17k takes the cliff-top track from Govetts Leap to Evans Lookout, then drops through the Grand Canyon track, with about 900m of climbing. The marathon does all of that and then heads out and back to the Pinnacles via Perrys Lookdown and Lockleys Pylon. The organiser measures it at 43km with roughly 2,500m of ascent. In 2026 both races started at 6:15am in waves, with an 8pm cut-off for the marathon and 11am for the 17k. A 1.5km kids' race also ran on the Saturday.
Mike Carroll won the 2026 marathon in 4:36:38, and only seven of 343 finishers got under 5:15. Leo Peterson took the 17k in 1:28:18. Those times reflect the terrain rather than the fields. Mandatory gear is checked at registration, so bring it with you.
2026 entry was $325 for the marathon, $180 for the 17k and $10 for the kids' race. Pricing for 2027 had not been posted when this page was last updated (September 2026).
Mike Carroll won the 2026 Hounslow Marathon in 4:36:38 on Saturday 12 September, 17 minutes clear of Piotr Babis, with Blake Abbott third. Julia Anderson was the first woman home in 5:13:53, seventh overall, among 343 finishers. On Sunday 13 September Leo Peterson won the 17k in 1:28:18, 64 seconds ahead of James Barnett, and Bridget Lunn led the women in 1:50:55, 19th overall.
